The Board’s primary responsibility is to prudently manage extension services for farmers, with the aim of developing, growing, and regulating the rubber industry in Papua New Guinea.

Deliver all of the Board’s functions and exercising all of Board’s powers under the Rubber Industry Development Act to prudently promote the growth and development of the whole value chain

Promotes effective research and delivers effective extension services in the upstream and midstream value chains of rubber products.
